Honeymoon excursion
Duncan is the go to person. From pick up to drop off he was very good and on time. He didn’t feel pressured when we were at the safari following other people. A good safari experience

I was apprehensive at first especially with such a late booking but Duncan and the team surprised me with a pretty solid package and executed it professionally. Kind Safari Guides
We had a lovely time during our stay in Amboseli National Park with Simon and Duncan. They picked our group of twelve up from two different places in Nairobi and drove us to and from the park. We had two stops each way, both in places with adequate restrooms and snacks/drinks available for purchase. Our lodge (Ol Tukai) offered two game drives per day as part of the package. Simon and Duncan communicated the timing of the drives in advance and were willing to work with our preferences, such as when we wanted to visit a Maasai village before going on a drive. They both made an effort to get us optimal viewpoints of lions on two separate occasions as well as many amazing elephant sightings. We also saw baboons, many species of bird, a few lone wildebeest, and zebra. Overall it was a fun experience for a first-time safari. I would like to draw attention to an area I think could use a bit of improvement however. During the game drives the guides seemed to take the same route at the same exact time of day (early morning and late afternoon before dinner). This meant we didn’t see the wide variety of animals we were expecting to or witness them interacting differently. Amboseli has cheetahs, leopards, hippos; wildebeest, giraffes, etc but we only caught a brief glimpse of a hippo from a distance and randomly happened upon a wildebeest herd on the move with several giraffes on our way out of the park. We didn’t see cheetahs or any other big cats liked we’d hoped and didn’t go on a pre-dawn or after dark game drive to potentially witness a hunt. As I mentioned, my husband and I are first-timers, so maybe we should have expressed a desire to see specific animals or change up the schedule. When I researched what to expect on a safari, it always seemed like the best experiences were driven by the enthusiasm of the guide who ensured guests saw things that were exciting and different. I also know Amboseli is a quite a bit smaller in both area and population than some parks (thinking of Maasai Mara here) so perhaps that’s also a factor. Overall we still had a great time and loved the safe, reliable transportation we received. Thank you!

Poor service and the experience
The tour was unideal, first of all the driver was late. Secondly, there was very limited help and support on entering the park and we had waited for almost 1-2 hous outside while the guide said he could take care of the tickets for us. Amazing Safari with Duncan Paul
We have absolutely enjoyed our Safari trip with the company and especially with Duncan Paul. Duncan was with us for there days in Amboseli and Tsavo East and was always on time, very punctual and has answered all our questions. We appreciated his calm, and friendly approach. He helped us to spot many animals we would not have noticed otherwise and was also a very good driver, he knew all the roads along the way very well. BON AFRICA SAFARI TOUR
I want to thank Bon Africa tours for organising this once in a life time experience, a 2 day safari trip in Tsavo east national park in Voi with our fantastic safari tour guide Patrick. We was collected from our hotel on the day of trip and was taken to our chosen destination at the end of the trip. We had the most fantastic, magical experience and live view of these animals you would only imagine and see in documentaries on TV. We saw giraffes 🦒 elephants 🐘, rhinos 🦏, zebras 🦓, simba 🦁 and his pregnant wife Lana 🦁. Which was the star of the trip and many more animals up close literally a foot away from our van! We can’t thank our enthusiastic experienced tour guide Patrick enough which took us out on tours on our two days at different times of the day to capture and experience the migrations of these animals and made sure we experienced and seen them all close up. He knew were to go and stop so we had a good look at them as able to take good a close of videos without no struggles or binoculars. Bon Africa organised our hotel stay at the most magical hotel called voi safari lodge with excellent views of animals from our bedroom window and open view from the restaurant while we came out to eat. They accommodated our stay in a two bed room which was convenient with our three small children. Our meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner was included which was a buffet style and accommodate different types of food and was child friendly. The staff and the hotel was friendly and facilitating. The cost of the trip was the best in the market as we did shop around and felt they would provide the best service and which they did and more which we have no regrets and will treasure of the rest of life.
